Brian Wetherholt
Brian is a Georgia native living in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from Berry College, where he met his lovely bride, Kelly. He holds an M.A. in Christian Apologetics from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Brian and Kelly have two sons in high school who love football, starting small businesses, and giving their parents opportunities to clean up the house. Brian enjoys fishing, backpacking, and using YouTube to tackle DIY projects that he probably should have hired a professional to do.
Brian’s life was changed by Young Life leaders who introduced him to Jesus and discipled him during his high school years. That experience led him to join the Young Life staff, where he served for eight years. He later served in various churches while continuing to pursue his passion for teaching and building meaningful relationships.
Brian was blessed to have people care about him with no strings attached. They gave him a safe place to ask life’s big questions and be honest about his doubts. He believes God’s purpose for his life is to provide that same opportunity for others.
