Tanner Morgan

Tanner Morgan is stepping into a new role in ministry, leveraging his extensive experience in leading small groups and Bible studies. He earned his undergraduate degree in Human Resource Development and a Master’s in Sports Management from the University of Minnesota. Tanner’s career includes a notable period in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings, and he served as an offensive analyst at the University of Minnesota in 2023.

A standout college athlete, Tanner was a four-year starting quarterback for the University of Minnesota, setting multiple single-season passing records and becoming the winningest QB in the school's history. His leadership extended beyond the field, as he served as a huddle leader for five years, nurturing spiritual growth and community.

Outside of his professional and ministry work, Tanner enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their daughter, Isla. Married in July 2022 and welcoming Isla in June 2023, Tanner values Family moments, staying active, and playing golf. 

Why did you choose to join Search? I am honored to join the team at Search, feeling deeply called by the Lord to this role. My passion lies in connecting with people authentically through sharing the gospel, and my goal is for everyone to encounter and know Jesus. I am excited about the opportunity to be trained and developed by the exceptional teachers and leaders here, and I am confident that this is the right place for me.
