Steve Gardner

Steve joined the Search team in 2020 after serving 27 years with Young Life in Indiana, West Virginia, Ohio, and most recently as the Regional Director for North and South Carolina. Steve coached 35 consecutive varsity football seasons, including 16 years locally at Myers Park and Charlotte Country Day High Schools. His wife, Lisa, teaches public speaking and journalism podcasting at Country Day, following her 20-year career as a television anchor and radio host. Together, they have two children. Grace and Grant.

Why did you choose to join Search? Because Jesus came to “SEEK and save,” and I want to be wherever God is most - with the hopes I can witness more of His story in people's lives.
