Drew Waeckerle

Drew grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated from Moody Bible Institute. He received his Master of Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2022. Drew served on Young Life staff in McKinney for five years. He and his wife, Lea, have two daughters, Sutton and Mills.

Why did you choose to join Search? Throughout my years volunteering and working for Young Life, I was so happy to get the chance to reach kids that no one was seeking. However, I always thought about those kids' parents and other adults who fall through the cracks and are seeking. Who is reaching them, I wondered? I began brainstorming about starting a nonprofit that reaches those adults through genuine relationships. Finally, a friend told me about Search; from then on, I pursued Search Ministries and have never looked back.
