Alissa Perry
Alissa grew up in Sparta, Tennessee, and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2006. Upon graduation, she served on Young Life staff in the Upper Cumberland before meeting her husband and moving to Columbia to start Young Life in Maury County in 2014. (Her two most important relationships began at Young Life camps - Jesus in 2000 and her husband in 2012.) Alissahas served on the a'Muse'um Children's Museum board, started a small local quarterly magazine celebrating the people and stories of Maury County, and led countless Bible studies. Prior to joining Search, Alissa was on Young Life staff for 12 years and 'benched' for 5 years as she devoted her time and attention to raising her little girls, Mckay and Collins. She loves going to the beach, eating good food (that she doesn't cook), reading, organizing, playing board or card games with friends, and practicing to be a gardener. Her two favorite things to do are spending time with her kids and not spending time with her kids. You will find her and Brent chauffeuring and cheering on one of their girls at cross country (getting emotional at the finish line), soccer, basketball, dance, or gymnastics.
