Ali Jones

Ali brings a passion for ministry, community, and meaningful conversations. A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with degrees in psychology and dramatic arts, Ali later earned a degree in Christian ministries from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Before joining Search, she spent 10 years in local church ministry, starting in kids ministry and ultimately serving as a discipleship pastor before being ordained in 2023.

Ali and her husband, David, met in the church they grew up in and later reconnected while working together in that same church. They have been married for 10 years and have a daughter, Fisher, who loves people, music, and cuddles. Their family also includes two dogs, Basil and Sage—better known as the "Spice Girls."

For the past 18 years, Ali has been performing with Improv Charlotte, a troupe that donates 100% of its proceeds to local nonprofits. The group performs monthly at a local brewery, choosing to serve the community through comedy.
